about this site
This website was created using Jekyll and is hosted on NearlyFreeSpeech. I previously had a website that was written in plain HTML/CSS, but I wanted to try something new and I find this easier to manage.
If you click the magic wand at the bottom right corner, you can switch this website’s theme. All of the themes are of my own design. With the deliberate exception of ESiteP, they should also use accessible color combinations.
- Light: A fairly simple, minimal-nonsense theme.
- Dark: Same as the light theme, but dark.
- Faceboog: Roughly inspired by Facebook’s old appearance. Named after the company and the MIT course 6.101[6.009] Fundamentals of Python, whose old course number looks like “boog”.
- ESiteP: Inspired by, and more mobile-friendly than, the MIT ESP website, which in 2011 was voted the Ugliest Manifestation on MIT’s campus (source). Named using ESP’s penchant for punny names.
